A week and a day late....this is us at our annual wine tasting party. Every year we celebrate with our Lambda Chi Alpha friends to the fullest. Since the guys graduated from UE, a long time ago, we have tried to get together every few months. It doesn't always work with our busy schedules, but the wine party stays true. This year we went through old photos and decided this was our 8th year of wine tasting. Its a very organized party....everyone brings an appetizer to share and a bottle of red wine. Upon arrival the wine is slipped into a brown bag and given a number. After everyone arrives, and a few warm up drinks, we sit down to a beautifully set table complete with wine glasses, flowers, snacks, and score cards. Starting with wine #1, each guest is given a "sip" to taste. You drink it, score it, and dump it (if you so choose). The comments are always the best part. This year there were seven wines (seven couples). After each wine has been tasted the scores are added. This year.....the Ross' came in SEVENTH place! Yep, that's last. (we've won before). The winning couple receives a gift card and bragging rights. After the wine tasting, the real party starts.....hahaha enough said. We had a GREAT time!! Thanks so much to Aunt Melodie and Uncle Brady for holding down the fort while we were gone and for not being too upset with us when we didn't get home until 3am. We can't wait for next year's wine party adventure!
