Pixie meets 2nd grade. Pixie is becoming a very popular puppy! Cameron really wanted to introduce her to his class. I emailed his teacher and she was excited to have us visit.
I picked Ansley up from kindergarten, we got a snack (Quentin and Sadie were at Jennifer's), and then went back to the elementary. To walk from the parking lot to the building, you have to walk along the playground. The first graders were out there and spotted a puppy in Ansley's hands. They all started screaming, "puppy, puppy, puppy!!!". I said, "Ansley, WALK FAST!". We escaped them and made it into the building. The secretaries and principal were excited to meet her too!
When we got into the classroom, Cameron took the puppy and stood in front of his class and told about her and even answered a few questions. He walked her around the classroom for each student to pet (there are 18 of them), then we let her walk around for a little bit to see how CUTE she is (of course she immediately peed on the floor), THEN they decided they each wanted a turn holding her. One by one they passed her around oooing and aahhhing over her. They were all very good with her. They were sad to see her go, but they had to get back to the books!
PS : we took Pixie to the vet today...she weighs 1.7 lbs!!
