Yes, I am a total dork and make my kids pose for pictures and set the timer on the camera! Thankfully, they like having their pictures taken. This way you can have a glimpse into our daily life.
Tonight after supper, we headed upstairs and stayed there until bedtime. We took baths/showers, played, did some picking up, a little cleaning, some homework, and even some giggling! Oh, and somehow I managed to beat Cameron in a game of HORSE....caught us both by surprise.
After all of that and everyone was in their pajamas, we settled in for a book. One of my favorites, "What To Expect At Bedtime". It answers all the questions kids ask at bedtime with awesome answers. Questions like "why do I have to go to bed?" and "why can't I stay up like Mommy and Daddy?". If only my kids would take the answers to heart and go along with it!! I am just SURE that NO ONE told me rocking my baby to sleep every night and letting him get in my bed would cause problems eight years later. I'm SURE of it ; ) Hopefully before he's sixteen he'll learn to go to bed better. Hopefully. For now, they're all four tucked away, sweet as can be, in their beds ♥
Sara, I love your "dorkiness" and glimpses into your daily life. It makes me feel close to home. Thank you for the time and effort you put into your blog and thank your babies for posing. Aunt Ronda
