Mom's the Word

This weekend was the Hearts At Home National Conference in Normal, Illinois. I was so blessed to be able to go. Tracy and I went last year and loved it, this year was no different.
Friday, after school, the girls (Ansley, Sadie, and I) hit the road and left Bloomfield leaving Daddy, Cameron, and Quentin here for a boy weekend. The boys had baseball "tryouts" on Saturday. JR picked his team (including Cameron) for the season and Quentin was placed on a t-ball team. We are all excited for the season to begin! They had a good time hanging out at home, had some friends over, watched lots of basketball, went out for ice cream, and even got groceries. The house was still intact when I returned : )
The girls got to spend the weekend with Grandma, Papa, and Nana in Effingham. They were very excited. They had a great time of fun, SHOPPING, and going out to eat! And did I mention shopping??! The girls came home with twice as much as they left with! Thank you Grandma, Papa, and Nana for taking such good care of us this weekend ♥
After dropping the girls off, I headed to Springfield. And yes, I was excited about driving for two hours allll alone. When I got to town, I went straight to my brother's! There I was able to spend time with Matthew, Dana, and Dylan and see their BEAUTIFUL new home (great job you guys!). I had so much fun with Dylan, who is an AMAZING kisser! We played all the way up til bedtime. From there, I went and picked up my "nieces", Addison and Sterling from their Grandma's and took them home. Tracy, Kenny, Addison, and Sterling were great hostesses to me! After visiting for awhile, I set my alarm for 5:30 and went to bed.
Tracy and I were up and on the road bright and early (I think you can tell in the picture). The conference, attended by 4, 733 moms from 36 states who are the moms of 11, 500 children, was AWESOME! The speakers are so inspiring. I learned so many things and got great insight on tons more! I could write forever on the words that were spoken...Mom and Melodie were so impressed with my notes! I'm so glad I was able to go (especially with Tracy) and look forward to going back next year!
Happy Monday to everyone!
