Even though she's not officially 6, we celebrated her birthday on Sunday. Ansley was so excited about her party. She had been counting down the days all week. She decided on a Jonas Brothers theme and helped pick out the cake at the "cake store". Daddy was able to find some Jonas Brothers decorations in Terre Haute too. Cameron, Quentin, and Sadie were just as excited about the party! The girls and I went to church that morning and the boys stayed home to finish up a few last minute things before the party. After church she rushed home and changed into her birthday outfit and waited for everyone to get here. It was a beautiful day and we were able to spend a lot of time outside. Soon it was time to open presents. Ansley took her time doing so. (like for-ev-er) She held up each piece of clothing she got (SEVERAL) and showed the front and back to all of us. She truly enjoyed being in the spotlight! Everyone was spread around the living room and kitchen watching as she took her time opening gifts. Eventually it was cake time (and I forgot candles!!!). Ansley sat up at the counter beaming with joy as we sang to her : ). After we ate, the kids (I think there were 14 of them) had fun playing outside. Ansley ended her party with an awful four wheeler (the power wheels kind) crash. Let's just say her face hit the rock and there was a LOT of blood and tears. She's still healing but she survived! Last night, Ansley got her birthday dinner from Taco Bell (her choice) and tomorrow she will take in snacks to share with her class. On her actual birthday, we are heading to the beach!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANSLEY MARIE!!!! We ♥ you!
