Pixie's first bath! When we got Pixie a few days ago, she smelled so good. Today...not so much. So we decided she needed a bath.
Ansley, Quentin, and Sadie went with our neighbors to Jasper and Cameron and Adam stayed here with me. The boys thought it was a good task to tackle. We got a towel ready, put another in the microwave for warmth, got some "smell good" soap, AND the camera. The boys were the "petographers", they each took a couple shots of her in her two minute bath. She didn't really seem to mind, but hated being so cold after. Poor thing is so tiny and looked even tinier all wet. Took her a good hour to stop shivering afterwards. Everyone took turns holding her to keep her warm.
Our love for Pixie hasn't worn off yet (I don't think it will anytime soon). Several times a day I hear, "mooommm, its MY turn to hold Pixie". Eventually we all take a break and "no one touches Pixie!". We're so glad she's a part of our family.
PS : how do you potty train a puppy in the pouring down rain??
